About Meet Our Staff
Dr. Charles Blackstock
Dr. Charles Blackstock is Senior Pastor at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Pastor Blackstock went to Georgia Tech to study engineering but in his first quarter he met Jesus Christ. Shortly thereafter he found a good church and got deeply involved. After just a few years he responded to God’s call to preach the gospel. In 1992 he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Education. In 1993 he finished his studies toward a Masters Degree in Counseling and then in 2000 he received his Doctorate in Pastoral Theology. In 1999 along with a few dedicated families Pastor Blackstock and his family began Lighthouse Baptist Church. Pastor Blackstock has been married to his wife Debbie since 1981 and they have two children. Andrew is a student in Gainesville College studying Business and has a small construction and landscaping business.. Matthew is training for the ministry in Hyles Anderson College in Hammond, Indiana.

Frank Whitmire
Frank Whitmire is the Adult Ministries Pastor. Bro. Frank pastored Defoor Ave. Baptist Church for seventeen years. He and his wife Paulette were a part of the ministry team that began Lighthouse Baptist Church. Pastor Whitmire oversees several areas of ministry at Lighthouse including: Senior Adult Care and Activities, Nursing Home Ministry, Hospital and Shut-in Visitation. In addition, Pastor Whitmire teaches in the Lighthouse Training Institute and leads an adult discipleship class on Sunday mornings. Bro. Frank has three children. Their son Frank, Jr. and his family are active members at Lighthouse and he is a leader in the children’s ministry.

Larry Monroe
Larry Monroe is the Bus Director and the AWANA Commander. After pastoring in Cherokee County, Bro. Larry became a part of the staff at Lighthouse in 2004. In addition to his oversight of the bus ministry and the AWANA program, Pastor Monroe teaches an adult Sunday School Class each week in the main auditorium. Bro. Larry’s wife Patty assists him in the AWANA program and he has three children. His daughter Kristen works on a bus route, serves in the children’s ministry and is one of the church’s pianists.. His son Nathan and their family are active members at Lighthouse and Bro. Nathan leads our Children’s Choir.

Stephen Cofield
Stephen Cofield is the Youth Pastor at Lighthouse Baptist Church. After receiving his Master’s Degree from Crown College in 2005 Bro. Stephen came to work on the staff in the fall of that same year. In addition to the youth program Pastor Cofield coordinates the Saturday Teen Visitation and Teen Discipleship. He is the director for the children’s church services and conducts the Wednesday INO teen service Bro. Stephen is married to Stephanie and they have a daughter named Abby.

Daniel Webb
Daniel Webb is the Music Director and his wife Brenda directs the Teen Choir and is one of our pianists. Together they coordinate all the music programs at Lighthouse Baptist Church and bring a wealth of experience to the ministry. Bro. Daniel directs the Celebration Adult Choir, Sings in the Men's Quartet and leads congregational singing. The Webbs have three children and several grandchildren all of which are active in church. Their son Chris pastors the Grace Baptist Church in Eatonton, Ga.
